Now That I Have You

Starring - Bea Alonzo (Betsy) and John Lloyd Cruz (Michael)

Kinda like the movie kasi gusto siya ng girlfriend ko (kelangan pa bang i-memorize yan?). A typical love story but with a different twist from a normal tagalog movie. A relationship that was created so fast just like on our own time. It's a movie about the complexities of a young romance.

But sometime in their relationship the girl becomes a nagger (thoughtful lang daw siya) while the guy doubts his feeling towards the girl (kasi natatakot na mangyari ulit na iwanan siya ng gf nya) and at the same getting attracted to an officemate. They broke up after. Pero after ng break-up, nalaman nilang nami-miss nila ang isa't-isa. Just like the old saying goes, "You'll never know how much you love him/her until he/she is gone".

Then after realizing that they trully love each other, Michael did quite few funny things, like riding in a motorbike chasing MRT, then telling his feelings toward Besky in front of a big crowd at an MRT station, just to show how she misses Besky. And after all the chasing around the station, they kissed happily ever after (grabe, parang sarap halikan ni Bea).

Another thing that added excitement to the movie was the character of ..... (didn't know his name eh). Basta yung parang matchmaker and the narrator of the story. Plus the charaters of Nikki Valdez and Louie (MUB). Magaling din yung mga pamilya nina Bea at Lloyd especially yung dad ni Lloyd. The scene of Lloyd and his father shows that Filipinos has a very close ties with families. We are known as a loving nation.

Rating : Naks.. Ngayon ko lang gagawin ito ah. For an ordinary moviegoer this is quite a nice movie to see. Pero yung mga tipo ng mga nerds at science-freak and konyos, wag niyo na lang panooring ito. But I wil give it 8/10 in overall.

Wow, napanood mo na pala pre. Maybe I'll watch this movie soon after I get the chance to watch the other ones I really have to see, before they stop circulating. Like eternal sunshine and collateral, which btw are both nice movies, according to Ramil.

Yes, Bea is beautiful, but I just find her beauty a bit boring, at least compared to Kristine Hermosa. :)
